History By Eddie Makue

History should in fact be pronounced as his story. It is an essay, a story of life experiences. To be all embracing we thus also need to talk about her story and their stories. For the purposes of this exercise it is important to note that my story has inextricable links with the stories of others

Coraizon

Fisher

Rev. Malin AS Fisher

URCSA Eldorado Park

The Uniting Reformed Church (URC) of Eldorado Park and Noordgesig is a faith community located in the south of Johannesburg. This congregation includes Noordgesig and is made up of people from across Johannesburg. A number of these members that moved from Eldorado Park still drive many kilometres to come back every Sunday, to fellowship with the people that they feel connected to.

It is in this coming together that we seek to worship God and to be used by our Creator to make a difference in the lives of our congregants. We believe that as a church, we cannot exist for ourselves, but rather for those out there, who are being marginalised and are seen as outcast in the society. Thus we are comitted to addressing the spiritual and social needs of the broader community.

We strive to create an atmosphere where all generations can worship God together, making use of contemporary praise and worship, without denying our heritage in the form of hymns and liturgy.
